Growing a sustainable future

We know climate change impacts us, whether it’s changing weather patterns and extreme events, or having access to resources such as water, we are all affected in some way. That’s why, at ABF Sugar we have always been seeking solutions and opportunities to play a role in protecting our communities and our businesses future.

Since 2017, we’ve reduced our direct emissions by 18% by improving how we produce our sugar, using more renewables and innovating to use less energy and create more products from the sugar making process.

But we can’t standstill, and that’s why we committed to our ambition of reducing our carbon footprint and water use at every step by 30% by 2030.
